Edgar: I enjoyed Bellamy battle
Burnley defender David Edgar said he enjoyed his running battle with Craig Bellamy during Saturday's final-day 1-1 draw at home to Cardiff.
The pair were team-mates at Newcastle and it was Bellamy who had the last laugh at Turf Moor as his late equaliser gave the promotion-chasing Bluebirds a share of the spoils.
Edgar said: "I was at Newcastle with Craig so I knew what to expect. He was at it from start to finish but I was not taking any rubbish from him.
"He is a real character and I thought the whole thing was funny.
"He is a winner and, with him in the side, Cardiff must have a good chance of making it this season."
