The 19-year-old forward, who has won two caps for his country to date, has been on trial with the Clarets in recent weeks and produced an eye-catching performance in the 5-0 friendly victory over Ventura County Fusion. He is now set to get another opportunity in Sunday's match against professional outfit Portland Timbers, who play two tiers above Fusion. Coyle accepts that Guerrero - who is registered with Ecuador Serie B club Independiente del Valle, having previously been with Real Madrid Castilla - still needs to improve in many areas but he recognises the youngster's raw talent. "He's a young kid with a lot to learn in the game," Coyle told the Lancashire Telegraph. "He's certainly not the finished article but he's exciting - the type of player that I like. We've got a few of them, but I like four or five of them." Chris Eagles, who played down the opposite flank against Fusion, has also lavished praise on the player who is reportedly valued at around £2million. "He's very good," said Eagles. "I'm very pleased for him. He's great to play with, I appreciate the way he plays."
