Easton pens Turf Moor contract

The Scotland Under-21 international has agreed a three-year deal at Turf Moor. Easton is manager Owen Coyle's fourth signing of the summer and joins record buy Steven Fletcher, David Edgar and Tyrone Mears. Easton made his debut for Scotland's under-21 side against Northern Ireland in November 2008 then represented the B side when they faced the province. Considered one of Scotland's brightest young prospects, Easton made his senior debut for Hamilton at 18. He took the step up in his stride and went on to become a first-team regular, making 102 appearances. Easton helped Hamilton win promotion to the top flight and was rewarded with a new three-year contract in May 2008. However, the lure of English football proved to be too great and he will wear the number 24 shirt at Burnley.
