Easton happy to be proving worth

Burnley defender Brian Easton believes he is finally making a contribution to the team after establishing himself in Brian Laws' plans. Easton had to bide his time for over a year to make his league debut for the Clarets after signing from Hamilton before the start of last season. But after impressively taking over the left-back role from the injured Danny Fox earlier this month, Easton said: "You feel a lot more worthwhile when you are coming in and actually contributing something. "I wanted to prove myself for quite a while and it just feels great to be doing that. "I think Foxy has been doing fantastic this season. It's obviously unfortunate for him when he got injured but it gave me my chance to get in and now that I am in you don't really want to give up the place."
