Easton eyes Burnley switch

Clarets boss Owen Coyle is reported to have made an enquiry to the SPL club on Tuesday as he looks to bring in more new faces. Easton is now keen to follow in the footsteps of compatriot Steven Fletcher, who moved to Turf Moor in a £3million deal from Hibernian. And the 21-year-old, who has made over 100 appearances for the New Douglas Park outfit, is confident Hamilton will not block his exit. He told the Daily Record: "It's every player's dream to play at the top level and it doesn't get any bigger than the Premiership. "There have been so many lads heading down south over recent seasons and Steven is just the latest. I'm thrilled that Burnley are interested in me. "I don't know what will happen but Accies chairman, Ronnie McDonald, has always said if a big move came up then he wouldn't stand in my way. "I know I still have a lot to learn but I feel I'm ready to make the step and follow the rest of the Scottish lads down south."
