After two weeks of speculation, the Lancashire Telegraph are reporting this morning that former Watford boss Sean Dyche has landed the Burnley job and will be unveiled by the club next week.

He's been in the betting all the way through and went odds on over the last couple of days although yesterday the odds were rapidly shortening on Ian Holloway who, according to the report, Burnley could still make a move for despite it confirming that Dyche has been offered the job.

It also reports that Lee Darnborough, currently head of technical recruitment at West Brom will arrive in December as director of football, an appointment made by previous manager Eddie Howe that will be honoured by the club.

Dyche, it says will consider the offer over the weekend. He was previously manager of Watford but was sacked when the club was sold to the Pozzo family, owners of Italian club Udinese during the summer after taking them to their highest finish since relegation from the Premier League in 2007.
