Duo to miss Latics encounter
urnley pair Martin Paterson and Tyrone Mears will miss the Clarets' pre-season friendly at Oldham due to minor injuries.[LNB] Striker Paterson is nursing a tight Achilles tendon after playing 45 minutes in Saturday's 3-0 win at Bury, while defender Mears will miss out again on Monday night due to a slight hamstring strain.[LNB]Manager Brian Laws, who will otherwise have all his first-team squad available, said: "It will be similar to Saturday.[LNB]"One or two of them might get nearer 70 minutes, but we'll mix it round again and hopefully will get another good work-out."
