Duff wants to wow boss
Burnley defender Michael Duff aims to seize his chance after being handed a route back into Brian Laws' starting line-up.
The 32-year-old started on the opening day of the season, but was forced off with a calf injury after 20 minutes and after waiting patiently for his next chance made only his second appearance on Saturday following Clarke Carlisle's dismissal in the 1-1 draw at Millwall.
Duff, expected to start at Sheffield United on Saturday, said: "This is what you wait for. It's disappointing when it's someone else's misfortune but that's how it works.
"Clarkey has taken his opportunity well when I got injured and this is what a squad and competition is all about.
"Clarkey might be suspended for three games now so hopefully I will get in the team and kick on from there again."
