Duff ready for first-team fight
urnley defender Michael Duff is relishing the challenge of reclaiming his place in the side.[LNB] The long-serving centre-back has been sidelined since suffering a calf strain in the Clarets' opening-day win over Nottingham Forest.[LNB]However, he is edging closer to full fitness and looks set to come into contention for Saturday's home clash with Preston.[LNB]"I will look forward to it," Duff said of the challenge that lies ahead.[LNB]"Having done a whole pre-season and then missing out so early was disappointing so I am raring to go again now. It's up to me to work hard and wait for my chance."
