Duff makes league team

Michael Duff's performance in the centre of the Burnley defence in the goalless draw against Queens Park Rangers has won him a place in the Football League's Championship Team of the Week. Duff came back into the side when Stuart Gray was appointed caretaker manager and has played each of the four games he was in charge alongside Clarke Carlisle.Saturday was our first clean sheet since the 3-0 win against Barnsley in October and Duff more than played his part in keeping out the league leaders.He's won is place in a team that is made up of players from seven clubs with both Middlesbrough and Watford having two players named and Reading, winners at Doncaster, getting three players into the team.This week's team is: Steve Simonsen (Sheffield United), Nolberto Solano (Hull), Michael Duff (Burnley), Martin Taylor (Watford), Alex Pearce (Reading), Barry Robson (Middlesbrough), Mikele Leigertwood (Reading), Nicky Bailey (Middlesbrough), Robert Snodgrass (Leeds), Shane Long (Reading), Marvin Sordell (Watford).
