Dream debut for Guidetti
On-loan Burnley striker John Guidetti could not hide his delight after marking his full debut with a goal in the Boxing Day 2-1 win at Barnsley.
The Manchester City teenager was handed his first League start by Clarets boss Brian Laws after two recent impressive substitute appearances.
And he rewarded his manager's faith by finding the net at Oakwell to register the first senior goal of his career.
"We got three points and I got to score, so I couldn't be happier," said Guidetti.
"It was a great debut for me, especially when you have such great players around you just pushing you on.
"I got to score one and we got three points, which is the most important thing and we build from here."
