Derby want Grant return

Derby County goalkeeper Stephen Bywater is out injured and manager Nigel Clough is looking for a replacement to bring in on loan to cover them for the next month and speculation is that Lee Grant is the keeper they want. Clough said earlier in the week that he'd look to bring in a loan goalkeeper but also added that he had faith in current back up keeper Saul Deeney who, he added, could start even if he was successful in bringing someone in.Today, Grant's agent Gino Culbertson has confirmed that Derby are making great efforts to bring in a goalkeeper on loan. There are no quotes whatsoever from him to suggest that the target is Grant but someone has put two and two together, suggested he's 'believed to be' interested in a return to Pride Park, and Bob's your uncle.Burnley have today loaned out Kevin McDonald to Scunthorpe with Laws revealing that two other players could go out on loan. I can confirm that Lee Grant is not one of those two players.
