It was a game that saw us fight hard to win a point in a 1-1 draw, and a game where the back four were strong against the Forest attack to such an extent there wasn't too much for goalkeeper Tom Heaton to do.
That's reflected in both the man of the match and the player ratings where our two central defenders were prominent.
Michael Duff won the man of the match with 42.2% of the vote. Scott Arfield took second place with a 12.1% share with Jason Shackell coming third with 10.3%. Fourth place was won by Sam Vokes who had a 9.9% share of the vote.
The two central defenders took the top two places in the player ratings. Shackell won it just ahead of Duff. Shackell's rating was 7.55 out of 10 with Duff scoring 7.50. Vokes was third. His rating was 7.09 and three players shared fourth place with all of Arfield, Heaton and Kieran Trippier having ratings of 7.00 out of 10.
Duff won eight points towards the Clarets Mad Player of the Year with Shackell picking up seven points. Arfield won four points, there were three points for Vokes whilst Heaton and Trippier both won a point.
The points have seen Shackell extend his lead at the top of the table to seven points ahead of Vokes with Danny Ings a further 25 points behind in third place. Duff has now climbed into seventh place.
