Burnley caretaker manager Steve Davis is planning to enjoy every minute of his first game in charge as a professional manager.
Davis has temporarily taken over the helm at Turf Moor from Steve Cotterill who left by mutual consent on Thursday after three years in charge of the Lancashire club.
Former Claret Davis will take over this weekend for Burnley's visit to Leicester City and intends to relish every moment. The ex-club captain and first-team coach told Burnley's official website: "I feel okay and I'm looking forward to it."
The 39-year-old added: "It's another challenge and it will be a tough game under any circumstances, but particularly after what has happened. The lads will be ready and we'll give it our best shot."
Reports suggest that Burnley's weekend opponents, Leicester, are now targeting Cotterill to fill the hot-seat at the Walkers Stadium, a move which would make him the fifth Foxes manager in the calendar year.
