Burnley boss Steve Cotterill has given goalkeeper Danny Coyne the green light to seek a loan move.
Earlier in the week a potential loan switch collapsed at the 11th hour, but Cotterill is still keen for the Wales international to make a short-term move in a bid to play first-team football.
Coyne hasn't featured in the Clarets' first-team after damaging knee ligaments more than 12 months ago.
"We thought there was a possibility of sending Danny out on loan this week, which I would have encouraged and been happy with," Cotterill told the club's official website.
"But it seems as though that club have pulled out of it for some reason, so I have been told by Danny's agent.
"A loan would give him first-team action and it might be something I would look at again."
