Burnley manager Owen Coyle is set for talks with Northern Ireland international forward Steve Jones about a possible exit from Turf Moor.
The 32-year-old has just finished a month's loan at Bradford City and is wanted by a number of clubs, including the Bantams, with his Clarets contract running out next summer.
Coyle told the Lancashire Evening Telegraph: "Stuart McCall has been on and I think they would like to take Steve again.
"He intimated it would be on loan, having said that there have been a couple of other clubs who've asked about him on loan.
"But Steve and I get on well and I've always said I'll do right by him.
"I won't force him to go places that he doesn't want to be, because players have families and everything else to look after.
"I'll have a chat with him on Monday and we'll decide what's best for him."
