Burnley boss Owen Coyle has revealed he is in discussions about extending his contract at Turf Moor.
The Scottish coach was linked with a move to Bolton Wanderers last week but Coyle, who is already under contract until 2011, has dismissed the claims and revealed that talks over a new Clarets deal are ongoing.
He told the club's official website: "There was all sorts of speculation last week, but I have got no intention of going anywhere.
"I love it at this football club and we are not anywhere near where I want to be in terms of taking the club on.
"I didn't bring players into this football club to be upping and leaving at the first opportunity.
"That was never going to be the case because we want to continue what we are doing and look to build.
"We are all in this together and I am here for as long as the club want me - they know that.
"So much so that the chairman, Brendan Flood, and I have had a chat about making it (the contract) a bit longer.
"We will deal with that when the time is right and I am very much on-board for that because we do have ambitious plans to take this club on."
