Burnley boss Owen Coyle has warned his players that he wants them to show more consistency in the closing weeks of the Championship season.
The Clarets are still in the hunt for a play-off place, but Coyle is concerned that his players are struggling to string good performances together.
He told the Lancashire Evening Telegraph: "I know what I want and the areas I want to strengthen.
"I've stressed to the players that we have got a plan and a vision how we would like to take the club forward. I want the players between now and the end of the season to show they want to be a part of that.
"There's no getting away from it, a large part of Championship football is that you have to have the mental strength and desire to win games on a weekly basis.
"It's all good and well putting in a fantastic performance, but if you don't follow it up with another, you leave yourself wide open for people to say why can you produce it one week but not the next."
