Coyle: We're not established yet
Coyle's side had not dropped any points on home soil since the 4-2 defeat in the Championship at the hands of Sheffield Wednesday at the end of February until they slipped to a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Wigan last weekend.[LNB]In the interim the Clarets won 10 in a row, becoming the first newly-promoted club to win their opening four Premier League home games with victories over Manchester United, Everton, Sunderland and Birmingham.[LNB]However, they were brought crashing back down to earth this month with a defeat by local rivals Blackburn, their fifth consecutive loss on their travels, and the Wigan loss.[LNB]Those back-to-back defeats have altered the outlook of many Burnley fans who were looking up the league table without fear.[LNB]Some have already dubbed the game a 'six-pointer', but Coyle has called for calm and asked supporters to take a balanced look at what the club has achieved over the past two seasons before criticising the team.[LNB]"The bottom line is that we're looking to put in a consistent performance, an entertaining performance and win three points," said Coyle.[LNB]"It's the same three points for each and every game. I've said that before because you raise the bar in terms of expectation which we have.[LNB]"It's coming up to two years since I came to a football club languishing in the Championship and we've come up to the Premier League having spent less money than what we've brought in, having done it on the revenue and budget which was in the bottom four of the Championship, having played 61 games, having lost narrowly in the semi-finals of the Carling Cup, we've got to this stage and all of a sudden the expectation rises.[LNB]"Fans think we're an established Premier League club and we're not, we're working with one of the smallest budgets the Premier League has seen for years and I think people have to look at that and take everything into consideration.[LNB]"These players are giving everything they can to win points for the football club.[LNB]"There'll be ups and downs, trials and tribulations along the way, that's football, but they have to get a sense of perspective, knowing that these lads are giving everything they can in each and every game they play."[LNB]Striker Steven Fletcher believes Burnley's start to the season has been better than expected and put his good form of late down to the service being provided to him by the likes of Robbie Blake and Wade Elliott.[LNB]The former Hibernian striker, who joined the Clarets during the summer for a club-record £3million fee, has netted five times in all competitions so far.[LNB]He said "I'm very happy with my own form. I wanted a decent goalscoring record, I've got five so far and I think I can get some more.[LNB]"If I can continue to get myself in the right positions I will reap the rewards because Blake and Elliott will pick me out. If I get in the right positions they will find me.[LNB]"We've had a good start to the season and everybody has seen that, we're mid-table, and I think everybody would take that at the end of the season."[LNB]Fletcher recognises that every game in the top flight will be tough but hopes his side's attacking mentality at Turf Moor will see the Clarets to victory.[LNB]He added: "If we can keep putting in good performances at home and pick up a few points away then I think everybody will be pretty happy with that.[LNB]"They (Hull) have a strong side, some good players, but hopefully with our mindset and the way we play at home we'll get the three points.[LNB]"I didn't expect us to see us where we are right now at the beginning of the season and people are saying that our run has come to an end but we know we have got the ability to push on."[LNB][LNB] Burnley 10/11, Draw 12/5, Hull 16/5
