The Clarets have been hovering in and around the play-off zone for much of the season but have seen their squad stretched to the limit by their success in the cup competitions.
Yet Coyle believes the desire among his players will ensure they continue fighting to the finish.
"We are into the final quarter of the season and it's important that we try and win each and every game as we always do," he said.
"We have a group of players who are desperate to do well for the football club.
"They have played an enormous amount of games, but we know they have got the mental attitude to go with the physical fitness."
