The top-flight new boys play their first pre-season friendly against Bradford City on Saturday and new signings Steven Fletcher, David Edgar and Tyrone Mears are likely to be involved. The Clarets will open up their competitive campaign on 15th August at Stoke City and Coyle feels everyone at the club is relishing the upcoming challenge. "You look at Stoke and you know how difficult a game that will be," Coyle told Sky Sports News. "They had a tremendous home record last year and how well they acquitted themselves. "It will be a tough opening, but it's one we're looking forward to. "We all know we'll be playing against the best players, against the best teams and in the best league in the world. "You can't ask for any more. What we have to do is make sure we are in games and do enough to try and win enough points to stay in it." Coyle is also happy with how his new recruits have settled into life at Turf Moor, saying: "I think it's important that with the ability that brings players to the football club, you also bring the right sort of person to the group. "The lads welcome anybody with open arms anyway and that helps them settle quickly. It will be very tight-knit again."
