Burnley boss Steve Cotterill has revealed that influential striker Andy Gray could be on the sidelines for a while after picking up a foot injury against Leeds.
Gifton Noel-Williams and Gray put the Clarets' promotion push back on the rails with a goal apiece in the space of two second-half minutes in the 2-1 win against the Whites at Turf Moor on Tuesday, but it came at a cost.
Cotterill told the club's official website: "Andy has hurt his foot and he is going to have an X-ray on his foot.
"He is struggling moving it up and down and it's a kick, not a twist.
"But if it's ankle ligaments or a metatarsal it doesn't make any difference, we are talking six weeks, so that is the worrying thing.
"We'll hope the results of the X-rays are good news because Andy and Gifton have forged a good partnership."
