Burnley manager Steve Cotterill is adamant that he is the right man to lift the club away from relegation trouble.
The Clarets have slumped towards the bottom three after an 18-match winless streak that culminated in the grim goalless draw with fellow strugglers Luton Town at Turf Moor.
But a defiant Cotterill said: "After two-and-a-half years here, working on the budget I've had and potentially leaving to go to three other clubs, which I haven't done to sign a new contract here, then somewhere along the line I think that's earning time and credit.
"I do more than the average football manager does at the club and there's enough fight in me to keep our players going.
"One thing I don't do is give in, and I will fight on until it's right."
