Cotterill hails strike duo

Burnley boss Steve Cotterill praised strike duo Andy Gray and Ade Akinbiyi as the Clarets eased to a 3-0 win against Norwich City at Turf Moor.

Both forwards netted as Burnley made it four wins from five games as they virtually guaranteed their Championship safety.

"If the two strikers haven't got a big grin on their faces there's one on mine that is big enough for both of them," Cotterill said after the victory.

"I'd imagine it has been weighing heavily on Andy's mind. He's been playing well enough to score goals and that one typifies another good performance.

"You could see the team spirit by the way all the boys ran to Andy after he scored.

"Ade has been out of the team, but he doesn't sulk and he was the first one on his feet when we scored against Plymouth. He's a good man and he deserved that goal."
