Burnley manager Steve Cotterill is excited by the proposed £20million redevelopment of Turf Moor.
The work will involve the players' changing rooms being moved from the current Cricket Field stand to a state-of-the-art facility between the Jimmy McIlroy and James Hargreaves Stands, something which Cotterill has long championed.
He told the Burnley Citizen: "This is something that for three years I've been banging the drum about.
"I suppose my pet hate has been the away stand and a bit more modernisation of the Bob Lord Stand.
"The thing is that in three or four years' time, the club will be unrecognisable, so for the people of Burnley that's just magnificent.
"They love their football team as it is and it's the only thing they hang their hat on, so to have all of this is amazing."
