Cork can go say Chelsea

Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has told Jack Cork he can leave Stamford Bridge according to reports this morning with Burnley and Swansea leading the way to sign the England Under-21 midfielder. Cork's link with Swansea is manager Brendan Rodgers who was his reserve team coach at Chelsea before he left to become manager of Watford during the 2008/09 season. They were linked with him a few weeks ago and Rodgers has not disguised the fact that he'd like to take him to the Liberty Stadium.Brian Laws meanwhile confirmed last week that he'd like to bring Cork, who did so well for us on loan last season, back to Turf Moor. He admitted it was all in Chelsea's hands but he was in constant contact and was still hopeful we could get him back to Burnley. Then, Chelsea's intentions were unknown and it could have been that he might be ready to go out on loan again, but this morning's news suggests the Premier League champions are ready to listen to offers of around £2 million for the midfielder.
