Burnley have placed director of youth development Martin Dobson and youth-team coach Terry Pashley in charge of first-team affairs at Turf Moor. Dobson and Pashley will be at the helm of the Clarets after they gave permission for previous caretaker Steve Davis to follow former manager Owen Coyle to Bolton Wanderers. Coyle was officially confirmed in the Reebok Stadium hot-seat on Friday afternoon. Meanwhile, experienced players Steven Caldwell and Graham Alexander will also assist with training in the build-up to next weekend's trip to Manchester United. "Burnley Football Club can today confirm that first-team coach Steve Davis and goalkeeping coach Phil Hughes have left Turf Moor," confirmed a club statement. "Both coaches are understood to be joining Owen Coyle's new management team at Bolton Wanderers. "The officials of Burnley Football Club would like to place on record their thanks to Steve and Phil for their services to the club and contribution to our success."
