Clarets shun Gray approach

Burnley have rejected a substantial bid from Championship rivals Charlton Athletic for striker Andy Gray.
The Clarets' 13-goal top-scorer has been linked with moves to several clubs during the transfer window, but the former Nottingham Forest, Sheffield United and Sunderland striker will not be joining the Addicks unless they up their offer.
Gray joined the Lancashire club in 2006 and has scored 25 goals in 66 appearances.
"Burnley Football Club has turned down a substantial seven-figure bid from Charlton Athletic for striker Andy Gray," read a club statement.
"Charlton are the only club to have made an offer, which falls well short of Burnley's valuation of the Scotland international."
Meanwhile, Clarets boss Owen Coyle has confirmed that none of the trialists who have been training with the club in recent weeks will be offered full-time contracts.
