Burnley manager Brian Laws is delighted to have brought midfielder Jack Cork back to the club on a season-long loan from Chelsea.
The 21-year arrives at Turf Moor to help plug the gap left by Chris McCann suffering a serious knee injury which will see him miss most of the campaign.
Laws told the Burnley Express: "We had the possibility of Chris' news in the back of our mind for quite a while and that's why that's triggered the Jack Cork scenario.
"There was a lot of competition out there for him - there were about a dozen clubs after him. We're delighted he has chosen us.
"He had a good time here, got on really well with the coaching staff and the players and he didn't hesitate in wanting to come back here."
