Clarets seal Unsworth coup

Burnley boss Steve Cotterill has added some experience to his squad by swooping to sign the veteran former Everton defender David Unsworth. The 33-year-old was released by Wigan Athletic at the end of last term and has inked a one-year deal with the Clarets. Unsworth has a wealth of experience having played in well over 400 League games since making his professional debut in the 1991-92 season, More than 300 of those games came during two spells with Everton but in the last three seasons he has played for Portsmouth, Ipswich Town, Sheffield United and Wigan.
