Burnley have snapped up veteran Sunderland striker Andrew Cole on loan until the end of the season.
The 36-year-old moves to Turf Moor after making just eight appearances for the Black Cats this season, having struggled for fitness earlier on in the campaign.
Clarets boss Owen Coyle told the club's official website: "I am absolutely delighted to bring a player of Andy Cole's stature and quality to the football club.
"I have been working on signing him for a while now and I am thrilled to have him. He will be a tremendous addition for Burnley and gives us a big, big boost."
Former England international Cole has enjoyed an illustrious career, including spells with Newcastle United, Manchester United, Blackburn Rovers, Fulham and Manchester City.
He has also won 15 caps for England and has nearly 300 senior goals to his name in all competitions.
