Marney would have faced a three match ban, and that could have been increased had the appeal been considered frivolous.
Manager Sean Dyche took advice before lodging the appeal after Marney was sent off by the appalling Darren Drysdale last Saturday with news coming through from the FA today that the appeal has been won.
Marney will now be available for the trip to Peterborough on Saturday.
