Clarets to warm up at Altrincham and Oldham

Our last game of the 2010/11 season was played just three days ago but already news is coming out of our pre-season schedule with games already arranged at Altrincham and Oldham. The first of these two games will be against Altrincham on Saturday 9th July with kick off at 3:00 p.m. Altrincham have just been relegated from the Blue Square Premier League and yesterday manager Ken McKenna and his assistant Stuart Bimson left the club.Their game against Burnley is one of four they have announced as they prepare for a season in the Blue Square League North.Today, a second friendly for Burnley was confirmed and it means a second successive year at Oldham. This game will be played on Tuesday 26th July and will kick off at 7:45 p.m.We played our second pre-season game there last year, and came from a goal behind to win 2-1 with goals from Steven Thompson and Leon Cort.There are more games to be announced as manager Eddie Howe prepares for his first full season as Burnley manager.
