Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Lee Grant has agreed a three-year deal with Burnley and he moves to Turf Moor for an undisclosed fee.[LNB] The 27-year-old, who played 136 consecutive matches for the Owls, will join the Championship side subject to the relevant paperwork being completed.[LNB]Grant previously spent two months on loan with the Clarets under former boss Steve Cotterill, but only managed to make one appearance during that period.[LNB]The move reunites him with Burnley manager Brian Laws, who he played under at Wednesday.[LNB]But, despite being excited about the move, Grant leaves Hillsborough with a heavy heart.[LNB]He told Clarets Player: "Obviously this is my second spell here, it was quite a short one first time round so hopefully this will be a much longer affair."[LNB]On leaving Wednesday, he added: "In all honesty, I've had three really good years there and, although last year didn't end up the way I would have liked, on a personal basis I still managed to have a good year and came away with a few awards.[LNB]"(I'm leaving with) a heavy heart, having had a very good relationship with the players and the staff and obviously the fans there so a big thank you to those, but obviously I'm looking now to build up some good relationships here."[LNB]The Owls will use the undisclosed transfer fee, believed to be in the region of £1million, to help pay off tax debts of £550,000.[LNB]Wednesday were served with a winding up petition last week by Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs and that resulted in a subsequent transfer embargo enforced by the Football League, which the club hope will now be lifted.[LNB]Wednesday rejected four previous bids for Grant, but accepted the latest offer on Sunday for the goalkeeper, who joined the Owls on a free transfer from Derby in the summer of 2007.
