Clarets sweating on Paterson update
Burnley are still awaiting confirmation regarding the extent of Martin Paterson's latest injury setback.
The Clarets striker pulled up with a recurrence of a thigh strain during Tuesday night's 1-0 Championship defeat at Doncaster.
Speaking on Wednesday afternoon, manager Eddie Howe said: "It is early days because Martin has seen a specialist on Wednesday morning.
"We are still ascertaining the full extent of the injury before we will know how long he will be out for."
Meanwhile, Burnley's league clash against Coventry at Turf Moor has been rescheduled for Tuesday March 15, 7.45pm kick-off.
The club are now in FA Cup fifth-round action when the encounter was originally due to take place on Saturday February 19.
