Clarets star focused on football

urnley winger Chris Eagles is happy to focus on hitting top form on the pitch depite facing an uncertain future at Turf Moor.

Eagles, who recently turned down a move to Rangers, again shone for the Clarets' in Thursday's rout of Home United in Singapore, scoring once and contributing to a second successive 5-0 victory.

The former Manchester United winger told the club's website: "Obviously everyone can see in the papers what is going on, but I am not sure what is happening.

"I am just concentrating on doing my very best for the club and I am pleased with my form and fitness.

"Obviously coming back from the summer you don't know what kind if fitness you are going to be in, but I have worked very hard and kept myself in shape in America and I want to get off to a flyer when the season starts."
