Clarets in good shape

Burnley manager Brian Laws has no new injury concerns for the trip to QPR after his side came through the extra-time Carling Cup defeat to Aston Villa unscathed. Laws has important decisions to make in the Clarets' back-line after Lee Grant deputised and impressed between the sticks in the 2-1 defeat at Villa Park and could keep his place for the trip to the league leaders, with Brian Jensen dropping to the bench. Clarke Carlisle could retain his place in the heart of the defence after scoring a last-minute equaliser against Villa to force extra-time and may keep Leon Cort on the bench after he returns from a one-match suspension. Chris Iwelumo was rested in midweek and is set to come back into the side with Martin Paterson making way, while Chris McCann remains a long-term absentee.
