Clarets hit by McCann injury blow
McCann sustained medial knee ligament damage during Saturday's 3-1 win over Sunderland.
The influential midfielder picked up the injury in a challenge with Black Cats defender Michael Turner and was forced to limp off after 28 minutes.
Scans have confirmed Burnley's worst fears and McCann now faces up to three months on the sidelines.
