urnley defender Clarke Carlisle believes he has made the most of his opportunity to impress boss Brian Laws following injury to Michael Duff.[LNB] Duff is nursing a calf injury sustained in the opening-day win over Nottingham Forest, and Carlisle came on to replace him before deputising from the start at Ipswich on Saturday.[LNB]Carlisle has been happy with his impact in his two appearances and was particularly delighted to score the Clarets' equalising goal in the 1-1 draw at Portman Road.[LNB]Carlisle said: "It's a shame that it's come from my colleague's misfortune because he had done everything right through pre-season and through no fault of his own he's found an injury.[LNB]"But that's where I have to seize my opportunity and I feel that I've put in two good performances."[LNB]
