Clarets boss Coyle leads by example

Coyle completed 73 minutes of the 1-0 defeat to Liverpool at Tranmere's Prenton Park. The 43-year-old told the club's website: "It's enjoyable being out there, but the biggest reason is helping develop those young players. "I have got some talented young players and when I'm on the pitch with them, particularly with Wes Fletcher being a striker and being a former striker myself, I can impart that knowledge and experience, like I did with Jay Rodriguez. "I thought Wes was outstanding and we think he's got a chance. "My legs aren't what they used to be but I'm pretty sure I'm vocal enough to talk them through what I expect of them and then when they're ready for the first team, which I believe some of them will be, they're ready to step in and it's a nice transition."
