Clarets boss bemoans injuries

urnley manager Eddie Howe believes the Clarets' poor form can be attributed to an injury crisis at Turf Moor.[LNB] The Clarets have won just two of their last seven Championship matches and they had just 16 senior players available for the 2-0 defeat at Barnsley on Tuesday.[LNB]Howe told BBC Radio Lancashire: "We're desperate to get players back.[LNB]"When you lose players like Danny Ings, Martin Paterson and Michael Duff it does hurt you with a small squad.[LNB]"Danny and Martin are the same it's a big blow to lose those two and Michael's full of experience, a communicator and organiser so we miss him too."
