Cherries chief hits back

ournemouth chairman Eddie Mitchell has hit back at claims that the League One club lacks ambition.[LNB] Cherries chief scout Des Taylor has resigned after claiming the club would not be strengthening during the summer, but would only be replacing the players that had left.[LNB]But Mitchell said the club were "one of the most ambitious in the league" and added: "We would like to underline that we are going about being a business in the right way and building a solid club."[LNB]Mitchell also accused Championship side Burnley of approaching Taylor and trying to lure him to Turf Moor to work with former Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe.[LNB]"We believe it is not the first time Burnley have approached one of our staff without informing us first and I find it very underhand and unprofessional," said Mitchell.
