In truth it was just four, although two more ended with away teams winning 3-2 courtesy of late goals, and none much later than the one that hoisted Bristol City out of the relegation zone.
They looked to be heading for another defeat at struggling Sheffield Wednesday but equalised four minutes from time with their second penalty of the game and won it two minutes later with an Albert Adomah goal.
Wednesday did get what they thought was an equaliser but referee Andre Marriner ruled it out because one of the home players was arguing with him over a penalty that hadn't been given. Marriner tried to claim he'd been pushed by Miguel Llera yet took no action against him.
That's no points at all from their last seven games. Dave Jones has looked to have been on borrowed time for weeks, more so given that Milan Mandaric is the owner of the club and had a reputation for moving managers. It's eight points from 18 games now and they are squeezed between bottom club Peterborough and Barnsley in the bottom three.
Millwall took their unbeaten run of thirteen games to Ipswich. The visiting fans abused home manager Mick McCarthy but he had the last laugh as Ipswich turned the tables and beat Millwall 3-0.
The other club on a good run were the Udinese franchise at Watford. They too so it come to an end. It was just seven games for them but it ended at the hands of Hull who won 2-1 at Vicarage Road.
Watford cling onto a play off place, ahead of Millwall on goal difference. Also in there are Middlesbrough, Hull and Leicester with Cardiff and Crystal Palace still leading the way.
There was fun at the end at Palace with an altercation between the Blackpool bench and the new Palace manager. There was fun too as Cardiff won 4-1 away at Blackburn on Friday.
I watched the West Ham v Liverpool game on Sunday when such as Glenn Johnson and Joe Cole showed some respect when they scored against a former club. No such thing when Craig Bellamy scored at Ewood in this easy win for the league leaders. There were no chickens on display this time though.
