Burnley defender Clarke Carlisle insists his side must be "firing on all cylinders" if they are to win promotion this season. The Clarets have made a satisfactory start to their npower Championship campaign after collecting four points from their opening two games. They are expected to last the distance in the race to win promotion but Carlisle says they must not drop below their own high standards. Carlisle told Press Association Sport: "Sometimes you get lulled into thinking `it might be quite an easy game this week` but there is none of that this season. "For the entirety of the season, the whole squad has to be firing on all cylinders for two reasons. "Firstly, you will get your backside felt by the opposition and secondly, you will be out of the side because there is two or three players waiting to take your place."
