Carlisle to start at Portman Road

Defender Michael Duff is nursing a calf injury so Clarke Carlisle is set to deputise from the start for Burnley at Ipswich on Saturday.[LNB] Chelsea midfielder Jack Cork is also set to make the side for the Championship encounter at Portman Road after joining on a season-long loan.[LNB]Cork, 21, enjoyed a successful four-month loan spell at Turf Moor last season and scored his first Premier League goal in the Clarets' win against Tottenham on the final day of the campaign.[LNB]The England under-21 international has had previous loan spells with Coventry, Scunthorpe, Southampton and Bournemouth, clocking up over 100 league appearances.[LNB]His arrival is a welcome boost to boss Brian Laws after midfielder Chris McCann was this week ruled out of action for at least six months with a knee injury.
