Burnley defender Clarke Carlisle believes his side`s 1-1 draw at Ipswich illustrated their stomach for the fight in the battle for promotion.
The Clarets fell behind at Portman Road when David Norris struck for the Tractor Boys but Carlisle`s injury-time equaliser gave Brian Laws` men a point.
Carlisle feels the result demonstrated the kind of mettle his side will need to keep producing over the next nine months.
He said: "We know the Championship. We know it`s going to be a fight to the bitter end but we are ready for it and I think we showed that.
"A point is very welcome and I`m sure we`ll look back at it fondly come the end of the season."
