The Clarets are preparing to embark on their first campaign in the top flight for 33 years following their recent play-off final win over Sheffield United. Coyle has attracted admiring glances from Celtic following his success and Carlisle said: "I just have the utmost respect for the man. "The confidence that he's instilled in us, the will to win, the belief in our ability and what we can do as a team and as a unit. "It just builds respect and pride in what he's achieved as a manager and what we've achieved as a group but it's a pleasure to play for him and long may that continue."
