Caldwell wants happy away day

The eagerly-anticipated derby between the Lancashire neighbours a week on Sunday will be their first league meeting for nearly nine years and the first in the top flight since 1965.[LNB]Despite their impressive home form, which has brought four wins from four, the Clarets have yet to claim a point away from Turf Moor.[LNB]Caldwell is looking to end that run on October 18 when they go to Ewood Park.[LNB]"We're in a real rich vein of form at home, but it's not something we think about too often - being away on a bad run or at home on a great run," he said.[LNB]"We just go out there and treat every game on its own merits and do our best to win it.[LNB]"We just need to keep our feet on the ground, keep working hard and realising what we're doing to achieve these victories and keep doing it.[LNB]"We'll be doing that come Blackburn, it's a huge game, and we'll be going out there to play in the same way as we always do and to hopefully win the game."[LNB]Caldwell made his Premier League debut for Burnley in last weekend's 2-1 victory over Birmingham having missed the first seven matches with a groin injury.[LNB]The Scotland centre-back is now hoping to get a long run in the side and is desperate to play against Rovers.[LNB]"I've been disappointed to miss the games I have but these things happen," the 29-year-old told the Lancashire Telegraph.[LNB]"Hopefully now I'm in for every game if I keep playing well and keep fit.[LNB]"It's behind me now and I just hope that first and foremost I'm playing next Sunday in what I think is the biggest game of the season so far."[LNB][LNB][LNB]
