Caldwell out to avoid heartbreak

The Clarets are four points ahead of Swansea and Preston in the fight for the final top-six place with three games remaining. Owen Coyle's side face Sheffield United on Monday night as they look to take another decisive stride towards the play-offs and Caldwell is certain his men have what it takes to make the step up to the top flight. "I wouldn't say it is over confidence but I am so confident we are going to get to this play-off final and that we are going to win it," he told the club's website. "I think we are going to be devastated if it doesn't happen. "But one step at a time. There are a lot of games to go. The feeling is unique, it doesn't come along very often, and we have to grasp it and everybody is aware of what they need to do."
