I think it is fair to say that today's special guest Mike Summerbee will be warmly received more by the visiting Manchester City fans than the Burnley supporters. It was 1975 when Summerbee signed for Burnley on the same day that Willie Morgan returned to the club from Manchester United but it was just at the wrong time with the Clarets relegated at the end of that season.He remained at Turf Moor for the first half of the next season, but after a disagreement over his treatment to an injury he left the club and signed for Blackpool.At Manchester City he was one of the stars who helped them lift the league title in 1968, along with the likes of Colin Bell and Francis Lee (a forerunner to Martin Olsson when it came to penalties).To read more on Mike Summerbee - see his PROFILE in the Past/Present Players section.
